Scripture on Sunday: Three of my favorite Bible Verses about loving your neighbors

Hello, my friends!

Since Valentine’s day is tomorrow, I thought I’d share 3 of my favorite Bible Verses loving your neighbors.

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:32

This verse is the one that is heard most in my house when my siblings and I are squabbling. I love this verse as it reminds us not only to be kind and love our neighbors but to forgive them just like Jesus forgave us.

A friend loveth at all times.

Proverbs 17:17

A friend loves at all times. Not just when the other person is being kind, but at all times. This verse is one I am really trying to live by, as I have a few friends that are harder to love all the time. 😅

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.

`1 Corinthians 13:4

This verse is an excellent reminder of what love is and what it isn’t. Love is patient, and love is kind. As mentioned above in Proverbs 17:17 we need to love at all times and be patient.

Let’s chat in the comments – What are your favorite Bible verses on love?

Thank you so much for reading and have a lovely Sunday!
