3 tips to help you use your time wisely

Timed Tuesday is here again! It is our third and final post! I’ve really enjoyed writing this series, and I hope it’s been helpful to you.

Today will be focusing on how to use our time wisely. Last week I talked about how to
save time. `

“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.”

― Harvey MacKay

Think about that quote for a second. You have time, but once you lose that time, you can’t get it back. . . .

Three tips to help you use your time wisely; so you aren’t wasting time; so you don’t have to try to get that time back.

  • Prioritize

I know this came up last week, but this time around it’s reallly important. You won’t be using your time wisely if you don’t know what your prioties are. Maybe you want to be an artist, baker, writer, and a muscian. But you can’t find the time to do all that. You are have to stop, and ask yourself this question, “What are my prioties? Are all those things really what I want to do?” And I am geussing that you like doing all of those things but maybe only one or two of them will acctually be your priorites. The others are just hobbies.
  • Track your time for at least two days
This one is really helpful. As you go about your day, make a note on what you did. This will help you realize what is wasting your time and what you are doing that is productive.
  • Talk to God.
This one came up again but in a different way. Pray, and ask God how you should be spending your day. What does He want you to be working on? What does He want you to be prioritizing?

Here are some fun extras you can use if you’d like to!

I hope this series was helpful for you. 🙂 Thank you so much for reading!

Until next time,

“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.”
