And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:10-11
And this is what is all about folks! God sent us a Saviour in the form of a baby boy. The trees, the gifts, the parties, the baking, the carols, the special services- it all goes back to this one miracle. This is what brings the joy is knowing Jesus Christ as your Saviour.
Anything is survivable with Jesus.
Everything is easier with Jesus.
Jesus is the answer to it all.
I know Jesus as my Saviour. It makes Christmas even more special for me when I remember the sacrifice that Jesus made to come to Earth to be my (and whoever else will call upon his name) Saviour.
In the comments, tell me what makes Christmas special for you.

Beautiful, Pearl!! Christmas is special to me because of all our family traditions – I’m one of those people who likes being in control/knowing what’s going to happen, so traditions are easy for me to get excited about. 🙂

Great post Pearl! Luke 2:11 is one of my favorite verses. My favorite thing about Christmas is the joyful season. Everyone seems to be more joyful around Christmas as we remember the day our Savior was born.
